Vacancy Post For Assistant Environment Officer

Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (DGPC) is pleased to announce the Vacancy for Assistant Environment officer appointment on regular basis:

Interested candidates fulfilling the above criteria may apply online through DGPC recruitment portal and submit the job application latest by  July 5,2024  along with the following mandatory documents:

  1. Duly filled in DGPC application form which is available online in the DGPC Job Portal.
  2. Scanned Copy of Academic Transcripts
    1. Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate for Class X and XII.
    1. Mark sheet (semester wise) and Completion/Provisional Certificate for Degree (Grade conversion of marksheet must also be submitted if marks are awarded in CGPA).
  3. Scanned Copy of Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (not older than 6 months). Any over writing shall not be accepted unless authenticated by the examining doctor.
  4. Scanned Copy of Valid Citizenship Identity Card (Both Sides).
  5. Valid Security Clearance Certificate which DGPC can check online.

 “An application that is not accompanied by any of the mandatory documents as specified above, whether in part or whole and not clearly scanned, shall be rejected without citing any reason”.

DGPC reserves the right to either increase/decrease the number of intakes or may not take any, depending on the qualification/experiences /capabilities of the interested candidates, and their performance in the interviews. DGPC also reserves the right to select the next candidate based on the merit ranking should a selected candidate withdraw.

Incase, there are more requirements than the announced post within 6 months, DGPC shall recruit from the merit standby list.

Note:

  1. Selected Candidates shall be required to produce No Objection Certificate from their current employee if they are currently employed at the time of appointment.
  2. Candidates who have submitted complete documents will be shortlisted based on academic merits. Incomplete application and/or non-submission of any required documents will be disqualified. Applicants must look out for the announcement of shortlisted name list in the DGPC Website for interview venue, time and date. DGPC will not be responsible if any candidates do not appear for the interview on the announced dates.

The Nomination & Governance Committee (NGC) is pleased to announce the vacancy for the post of Chief Executive Officer, འབྲུག་ཆུར་རྟེན་ནུས་ཚད་འཛིན་། as given below:

Chief Executive Officer
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institute/university through regular (full time) program. Candidates without Bachelor’s Degree but having Master’s Degree from recognized university through regular (full time) program are also eligible.
  • Minimum experience of 15 years in one or combinations of the experiences as given below:
    1. Minimum experience of at least one year in project/construction management as CEO and/or Project Manager/Engineer-in-Charge level in major infrastructure and/or small/medium/large hydropower projects (preference shall be given to candidates with experience in planning, coordination, design and construction of small, medium, or large hydropower projects).
    2. Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the hydropower sector and should have served a minimum active service of 3 years at senior managerial level (P1A and above in the civil service and General Manager level and above or equivalent position in corporate/private sector) equivalent to DGPC Grade E3.
  • Only 18 months of study leave/sabbatical shall be considered as active service.
On contract for three years initially with possibility of extension.

  • Curriculum Vitae indicating clearly the details of applicant with names of at least three professional referees with email address, office address, and mobile number.
  • Attested copy of Bachelor’s Degree Certificate and Mark Sheet and Master’s Degree Certificate and Mark Sheets (as applicable).
  • Copy of valid Citizenship ID Card.
  • Valid Security Clearance Certificate (approved online).
  • Work Experience Certificate/Letter with valid documentary proof/evidence to show 15 years of work experience and minimum 1 year in project/construction management or 10 years in hydropower and 3 years at senior managerial/executive level.
  • Should submit the valid BIT/CIT/PIT certificate issued by the relevant agencies, as applicable.
  • A copy of office order of appointment/promotion to the P1 level equivalent to DGPC Grade E3.
  • A copy of Performance Appraisal for recent three years, wherever applicable.
  • A copy of Audit Clearance Certificate from Royal Audit Authority with purpose stated as interview.
  • Referrals/recommendation letters from at least two referees (issued by superiors).
  • Additionally, the selected candidate upon submission of Acceptance must submit a “Valid Medical Certificate” and a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer, if currently employed.

 

Partial or incomplete submission of required documents shall lead to disqualification
